Communication Project for the 33rd National Games: Shyamalendra played a significant role in the successful completion of the communication project for the 33rd National Games. He was instrumental in its success. Within a record time of 9 days, he connected 18 different stadiums and the game village in various parts of Guwahati. This involved the configuration of 32 L3-managed switches and 2800 Cisco routers. He also installed and configured over 50 LinkSys and Vanlink 8-port ATA devices, as well as IP cameras for VoIP voice and data communication.
Implementation of VLAN for Guwahati MAN: Shyamalendra planned, built, and managed the implementation of a VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) for Guwahati MAN (Metropolitan Area Network). This included designing multiple project plans, creating standards, and providing consultation for client workstations.
Coordinating between government agencies and private companies for e-governance projects: Shyamalendra acted as a coordinator between different government agencies and private companies to provide network solutions and other IT facilities for Assam Government e-governance projects.
