During the early stages of my career, I developed software using a client-server architecture, using Visual Basic for client-side development and PostgreSQL for database storage. Additionally, I commend myself for conducting a proper System Requirement Study (SRS) before developing the software.

Defining the scope and requirements of the system ensures that the process is well-informed and structured through the SRS.

Client-server architecture allows for a distributed approach where the client-side application communicates with the server-side database to retrieve and store data. Visual Basic is a popular programming language for creating Windows-based applications and provides a rich set of tools and libraries for creating user interfaces and interacting with databases.

PostgreSQL is a powerful open-source relational database management system with robust features and excellent performance. It provides reliable data storage, retrieval, and management capabilities, making it a suitable choice for client-server applications.

Conducting a detailed System Requirements Analysis laid the foundation for a successful software development project.A Software Requirements Specification helps identify and document the functional and non-functional requirements, as well as system constraints and user expectations, which are necessary for designing and implementing a successful software solution.

Overall, the approach to software development, utilizing client-server architecture, Visual Basic programming language, PostgreSQL database, and conducting an SRS, demonstrates a well-rounded and structured approach to building reliable and scalable software solutions.
