Gauhati University to Hold 32nd Convocation on April 25; President of India to Attend as Chief Guest

Guwahati, April 12: Gauhati University is all set to host its 32nd Convocation on April 25, 2025, in a grand ceremony that will witness the presence of several dignitaries, including the Hon’ble President of India, who will attend as the Chief Guest.

The Convocation will be presided over by the Hon’ble Chancellor of Gauhati University, the Governor of Assam. The Chief Minister of Assam will also grace the event as the Guest of Honour, and the Education Minister of Assam as the Special Guest.

This year’s Convocation will mark a historic moment as a record number of 3,735 students are set to receive their degrees across various disciplines.

In addition to the student awardees, Gauhati University will also confer honorary degrees on three distinguished personalities in recognition of their outstanding contributions:
