How to Reach Tanot Mata Temple

  1. By Road
    You can easily reach Tanot by car or taxi from Jaisalmer via Ramgarh. The road trip takes about 2.5 to 3 hours and offers a scenic view of desert dunes and remote villages. Buses also operate regularly from Jaisalmer.
  2. By Rail
    The Jaisalmer Railway Station is the nearest railway station, located approximately 120 km away. From there, tourists can hire a cab or take a local jeep to reach the temple.
  3. By Air
    The nearest airport is Jaisalmer Airport (JSA). It connects to major Indian cities such as Delhi, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad. From the airport, the temple is around a three-hour drive.

Important: Since the temple is close to the border, visitors may need a permit to visit the nearby Longewala post and other restricted areas.
