Reena Baruah was born on 15th August 1946 in the scenic and culturally vibrant town of North Guwahati, Assam. She began her academic journey at a local primary school, where she quickly developed a love for learning. Her parents encouraged her passion, and she continued her education at the North Guwahati Girls’ High School.
After completing her high school education, she enrolled at North Guwahati College, where she successfully earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Her strong academic foundation and values prepared her for a fulfilling career in teaching.
A Noble Career in Teaching
Driven by a desire to give back to the community, Reena Baruah joined North Guwahati Girls’ High School as an Assistant Teacher. She returned to the same institution that had once nurtured her, now as a mentor and guide for the next generation.
