About SAMARTH Project
The Ministry of Education initiated “Samarth” in 2019 under the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT-II, now NMEICT-III). Its aim is to empower universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) by implementing a digital framework to plan, manage, deliver, and monitor services for students, staff, and other stakeholders. Within this project, HEIs receive a fully managed, cloud-based, customized ERP designed specifically for the country’s HEIs.
