Kaziranga National Park
Kaziranga is one of the most famous national parks in Assam and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park’s population of Indian one-horned rhinoceros, tigers, elephants, and a wide variety of bird species has earned it renown.
Manas National Park
Another UNESCO World Heritage Site, Manas National Park, is famous for its diverse flora and fauna. It is home to tigers, elephants, rhinoceros, wild water buffaloes, and the endangered Assam roofed turtle.
Namari National Park
Nameri National Park, located near the border with Arunachal Pradesh, boasts scenic beauty and diverse wildlife. It is famous for birdwatching, river rafting, and the endangered white-winged wood duck.
Dibru-Saikhowa National Park
This national park is famous for its semi-wild feral horses, commonly referred to as “Dibru-Saikhowa ponies.”It is also a haven for birdwatchers, with over 300 species of birds.
Orang National Park (Rajiv Gandhi Orang National Park)
People often refer to Orang as the “Mini Kaziranga” due to its population of the Indian one-horned rhinoceros. It also earns renowned for its rich birdlife.

Known for the presence of verities of mammals, reptiles and birds located in the rain forest area of 231.65 KM square.
